Celia Koehler is the Manager of Human Dignity at The Manor Village Life Centers. Among other roles, her prior experience includes opening Rogers Place as the HR Manager for Aramark, running her own HR consulting company (ChromeHR), and Managing Human Resource Development for the Alberta Hotel & Lodging Association. She also held roles such as Vice President of the Students’ Association of Red Deer College and Human Resources Manager for all Clique Hotels & Resorts properties.
She has served CPHR Alberta for a full term, and is currently Vice Chair of the Governance Committee for CPHR Alberta. She previously served as a member on the Alberta Post-Secondary Application System Task Force, was a director on the Chrysalis Foundation Board, and served on the Alberta Colleges and Technical Institutes Student Executive Council.
Celia graduated from the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She also completed a University Certificate in Human Resources and Labour Relations from Athabasca University. She is a Certified Human Resource Professional and was awarded the 2013 Rising Star Award with the CPHR Alberta.
When she is not at work, Celia enjoys making pottery, spending time with her family, and travelling.
