HRIA, in partnership with western Canadian HR Associations HRMA (BC), SAHRP (Saskatchewan) and HRMAM (Manitoba) are working together to provide a broader perspective of the labour market for Canada's HR professionals. This report compares data between the provinces and ten industry sectors.
CPHR Alberta has created a measure of how Albertan employers feel about hiring and the index reflects the forecast over the next six months from the time the survey was taken. The index emphasizes how confident HR professionals are that they can hire the right people to fill open positions; it also incorporates views on growth or decline in the number of positions.
