Walk & Talk Program
After the successful launch of our Walk & Talk pilot project in summer 2019, we've decided to continue the program in 2020!
The Walk & Talk program is a one-time, two-hour meeting between senior HR leaders and HR students who are members of CPHR Alberta. It's a valuable opportunity for students to ask how to get started, who to talk to, what skills are in demand, or whatever you think you need to know about HR.
"This is a very valuable program for students and executives alike. The program is an opportunity to create an intentional space and framework for both students and executives to connect. Both students and executives are very busy and having some intentional time to connect, share and develop relationships is such a fundamental part of what HR strives to do."

The Details of the Walk & Talk Program
There are 20 spots available for student members to meet one-on-one with an HR executive. CPHR Alberta matches you with your mentor and from there you have a single two-hour meeting in an informal environment such as a coffee or walk to ask your questions.
Student Eligibility for the Walk & Talk Program
You must be a student member of CPHR Alberta in at least the second year of your HR program.
