Walk and Talk Program

The Walk & Talk program is a one-time, two-hour meeting between senior HR leaders and HR students who are members of CPHR Alberta. It's a chance for HR professionals with extensive experience to offer emerging HR professionals career insights, and earn 2 CPD hours. It's also incredibly valuable opportunity for students to ask how to get started, who to talk to, what skills are in demand, and other questions to set them up for success. - This program is hybrid, in person and virtual.

The Details of the Walk & Talk Program

There are 20 spots available for student members to meet virtually one-on-one with an HR executive. CPHR Alberta matches you with your mentor and from there you have a single two-hour meeting in an informal environment such as a virtual meeting, or a mutually agreed on public location like a café, to ask your questions.

Student Eligibility for the Walk & Talk Program

You must be a student member of CPHR Alberta.

Spring 2024 Intake
