CPHR Alberta has responded to member feedback with a permanent policy providing dues relief for parental leave, temporary medical leave or unemployment. The CPHR Alberta Board of Directors approved the policy early in 2017, with an immediate rollout to members. The changes bring a 65% reduction in annual dues to affected members - with more than 150 members approved for these reduced dues in 2017.
A proposal for the changes was brought forward by a member in late January, 2017 and echoed concerns voiced in the annual member survey. The policy makes it easier for these members to remain part of our HR community.
