WALK AND TALK PROGRAM

Walk and Talk Program

The Walk & Talk program is a one-time, two-hour meeting between senior HR leaders and HR students who are members of CPHR Alberta. It’s a valuable opportunity for students to gain career insights and ask questions about starting their HR careers. This program is hybrid, offering both in-person and virtual meetings.

Program Details:

· 20 spots available for student members.

· One-on-one meetings with an HR executive.

· Meetings can be virtual or at a mutually agreed public location like a café.

"I have been attending the Walk & Talks for 2 years. It is an excellent, low-time commitment in which you can gain valuable knowledge. You have nothing to lose, only knowledge to gain.

- Fall 2024, Student Member Program participant

"An excellent strategy for students to learn and gain valuable insights from senior leaders. Mentees should maximize this opportunity by coming prepared with specific challenges they face, seeking the seniors’ perspectives to guide them on their career paths.
