We'll cover best practices in structure and content, the importance of cover letters (and what makes them effective), and how to powerfully highlight your experience. Learn what employers in the HR field are looking for and gain valuable insights from my own career path and progression since graduating from the University of Lethbridge

About the Speaker:
Kate is the HR Director at Avail CPA, where she has dedicated the past five years to fostering a thriving workplace for over 150 team members. With the support of her awesome team, Kate manages the full spectrum of generalist HR functions, ensuring a positive and productive environment. Prior to her role at Avail CPA, Kate owned a successful HR consulting business, building a broad foundation in diverse organizational needs. Her earlier experience as HR Manager at North & Company and Southland Trailers provided valuable insights into professional services and manufacturing, realizing the foundations of job satisfaction are consistent, no matter the job.

Kate holds the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation and is an active member of CPHR Alberta. A proud alumnus of the University of Lethbridge, she holds a major in Human Resources and Labour Relations with a minor in Corporate Social Responsibility and Co-op Designation
