About the Event
Organizational culture and climate are related concepts that both describe aspects of the workplace environment, but they refer to different aspects and have distinct characteristics. Organizational climate refers to the prevailing atmosphere or mood within an organization or worksite, as perceived by employees. It represents employees' shared perceptions of the work environment, including factors such as leadership style, communication patterns, workload, reward systems, and job satisfaction. Assessing organizational climate is crucial for understanding the overall health and effectiveness of a work site. Methods of assessing the organizational climate in remote work sites is especially challenging and can differ significantly from traditional, office-based settings due to the unique challenges and dynamics associated with remote work factors.
The webinar will provide participants with practical strategies and tools they can use to assess, understand, and improve the organizational climate within their remote work sites. Content will focus on gaining insight into the psychological health and safety of remote workers and highlight proactive steps to promote well-being, prevent potential risks, and create a positive and supportive remote work culture.
