Val Carter

With many years of experience in a wide variety of organizations, Val’s knowledge is based in the real world. She’s been there, done that, failed many times – and learned from her experiences.

Val is certified in both human resources and training & development. Through her company, The Success Centre, she partners with organizations both large and small to design and deliver enjoyable results-based learning sessions. She also facilitates courses for Continuing Education at the University of Calgary.

Jamal Osman

Working in the HR field for over 10 years (internationally initially and in Canada for the past 8 years), I bring a variety of backgrounds and perspectives to some of the unique challenges facing organizations on a day-to-day basis. The added value I present includes experience from the private and public sector, as well as not-for-profit/charitable organization work.

I offer more than 28 years of Human Resources experience in the public and industrial sectors in northern Alberta and B.C., in union and non-union environments.  My career began as a Regional Personnel Manager with the Alberta Government, moved to Canadian Forest Products Ltd. (Canfor) in B.C. and Alberta as HR Coordinator.  Finally, as Executive Director at Grande Prairie Regional College I lead the HR Department, assisted the Board in hiring its President and successfully managed two mergers prior to starting my own consulting business.

Jennifer Elvin

Jane Grant

Jane Grant is an energetic, versatile and client service oriented Senior Human Resources Management Consultant with 30 years of HR experience. Since 2001, Jane has been providing organizational effectiveness, leadership development, training and development, and generalist human resources services to organizations in both the public and private sectors in western Canada. As well, Jane has held teaching positions at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and SAIT.
