Clementine Crooks has her Masters in Leadership and is a CPHR candidate who will complete her certification in 2017. For the past eight years Clementine has worked with organizations to improve efficiencies and maximize profitability by developing their people processes. This work has included the development of policies and procedures, performance management processes and employee documentation.

Barbara May

Barbara May has a great deal of experience and first-hand information to share about overcoming stumbling blocks at work. She has interviewed business owners on the Learning & Job News, hosted Access Television’s May We Talk, and facilitated more than 500 Career and Employment Workshops. 

She draws upon this experience to help people come up with new ways solving problems in the workplace such as dealing and communicating with co-workers and bouncing back from mistakes with confidence.

Karen Scribner

I offer more than 28 years of Human Resources experience in the public and industrial sectors in northern Alberta and B.C., in union and non-union environments.  My career began as a Regional Personnel Manager with the Alberta Government, moved to Canadian Forest Products Ltd. (Canfor) in B.C. and Alberta as HR Coordinator.  Finally, as Executive Director at Grande Prairie Regional College I lead the HR Department, assisted the Board in hiring its President and successfully managed two mergers prior to starting my own consulting business.

Lisa Holden Rovers

Lisa Holden Rovers is the Founder of Workplace Matters, a coaching and training firm that grows strong leaders and builds cohesive teams. Prior to founding Workplace Matters in 2005, Lisa held national and international senior human resources positions where she was responsible for the development of the leaders and teams she supported. She is passionate about serving her clients in their quest to have a lasting influence and impact on people's lives at work.

Karen Marner is a Senior Human Resources Executive with over two decades of extensive experience in national and international roles. She has held senior HR executive and management roles and led and managed teams in various industries and cultures including Utilities, Oil & Gas, Public Service, Consulting, and Healthcare. As a true generalist, Karen is well versed in all aspects of HR Management, including union and non-union environments.

Heather Majeau CPHR, CCP

Heather Majeau, CPHR, CCP, is the Founder and Executive Director of HJM & Associates.  Her focus has been to work closely with her clients to support and guide them in their own deliverables to their organizations.  Her work spans many aspects of the Human Resources profession.  Her career has been in leadership roles in organizations being a true generalist.  More recently her business has been to work with small to mid-sized organizations, both for profit and for benefit.  She works with like-minded fellow professionals to deliver Talent Management services and products to clients.  E
