Candace Hawkins,
CPHR
Candace is an HR professional with 10 years of experience in a generalist capacity having worked in private, public and broader public service sectors and both union and non- unionized environments. She has experience in all aspects of HR but specialized areas of focus include: Labour Relations, Change and Performance management. Currently she is working for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo in an HR advisory role, supporting Environment and Sustainable Services. 
 
Candace holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation; In addition she has completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from York University, a post graduate certificate in Human Resource Management from Seneca College as well as a Master of Industrial Relations degree from Queen’s University. She has served as a guest speaker for HR students at Seneca College and Keyano College. 
 
Candace is passionate about fitness and health and work life balance.  She was an avid equestrian and has competed in showjumping at provincial and national levels.
